A few months ago I was blessed to be able to share some of my testimony with the Women’s Bible Cafe. Here is a portion of that interview. If you would like to read more, or see all the wonderful happenings at the WBC please follow the link at the end of this post.
What was it that prompted you to join the Women’s Bible Cafe?
We as a family suffered through a few serious tragedies while serving the Lord on the field. To be honest, I had a nervous breakdown and became suicidal. I believe part of the problem was accountability, lack of fellowship and group study. Where we were there was nothing and no one to stand by me and I was just too weak from the continual blows of sorrow and tragedy to try.
So we took a bit of time off for our family to recover and I was determined not to fall into such depression again. I searched for Christian groups and Bible study on line and easily came across the Women’s Bible Café.
I wanted to join up but as faith missionaries living in a different country, acquiring the material would present a unique challenge for me. I asked my Father to help me as I believed He led me here for a reason and it has been exciting to see how He has provided the material needed along the way. I have never been without the material needed for the next study. If you really want to study His Word and know more about Him, He provides the way.
