“Your sense of failure may be the catalyst God wants to use to bring you to a new understanding of the meaning of the Christian life.”

Learning to live above the level of mediocrity can be challenging for anyone who struggles with performance orientation or a sense of inferiority. In his book Grace Walk, Steve McVey eloquently writes about the dangers of living on the fence between legalism and grace. McVey takes the reader step by step through his own life’s journey of constantly trying to measure up. His vulnerable honesty, he brings the reader into his personal world and gives the reader someone to relate with in their own struggle with inferiority.

This book was a quick and easy read for me. In each chapter, he shared rich stories that unfolded God’s gift of grace in my own life. If you struggle between the polarity of perfectionism and legalism, this book is for you.

I highly recommend this book.
